-Jex is a reporter and a photographer for his school's newspaper.
-Jex is studying journalism and is a senior.
-Jex is a model student and quite responsible.
-Jex is quiet in large groups but intensely inquisitive and non-judgmental in small social situations.
-Jex enjoys jazz and the theater.
-Jex dresses well.
-Jex has a substantial amount of money inherited from his parents, both of whom have passed on.

Below:
-Jex fucking hates jazz.
-Jex fucking hates his name, his family, and his huge stupid empty house.
-Jex smokes like a chimney and curses frequently.
-Jex sneaks out of his dorm room and goes to shows where he meets someone that he inevitably goes home with. He lies to them about his name, his age, and everything else about him.
-Jex wants to be anyone other than who he is.

I think if Lachlan believed that (he's assuming that what Jex told him earlier was spin to get him to talk-- paranoid wizard is paranoid) he'd actually be a lot more inclined to spill. ...But probably still wouldn't, sigh.
